Joanna Wells

Joanna obtained her BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry from the University of Surrey in 2019. As part of this programme she undertook a professional training year within the Bioimaging team at The Pirbright Institute from 2017-2018 where she returned as a microscopist in 2020 following completion of her degree. She is an experienced confocal microscopy user, having curated an image library showcasing virus infection in cells as well as optimised the super-resolution functionality of the confocal system at the Institute.
