Alice Burman

Alice Burman is a PhD student working with Dr. Munir Iqbal in the Avian Influenza group. Her PhD project will be researching the use of a novel vaccine platform to generate vaccines targeted against H5 and H9 subtypes of avian influenza, in various avian species.

Alice studied at the University of Liverpool, where she gained a BSc in Biological and Medical Sciences. She went on to study at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, where she graduated with a Masters in Tropical Disease Biology in 2020.
