Royal Entomological Society Insect Festival

02 July, 2017 to 02 July, 2017

The Royal Entomological Society hosts the Insect Festival every two years. The event is held at the Yorkshire Museum Gardens, a beautiful setting for anyone with a fascination with insects to learn new things - from exhibitors and traders to wildlife groups and the general public.

Our entomologists will be at the event to show visitos some of the critters we study and speak to them about their role in disease transmission. At our stand you will see live mosquitoes and the equipment we use to work safely with them, and have the opportunity to talk to experts in mosquito biology and transmission about how mosquitoes spread diseases and how to stop them.

For more information about the event, please visit the Royal Entomological Society website.
