The Poultry Health Course is for veterinary surgeons, technical staff and managers from the poultry industry who wish to learn more about the nature, diagnosis and control of infectious diseases of poultry. The course is also suitable for non-specialist graduates who wish to gain a thorough knowledge of the poultry sector.
This course is currently under review by The Pirbright Institute but is likely to be for 1-week duration and include information on viruses, bacteria and parasites that affect poultry as well as updates from industry. Practical sessions involving the testing for these organisms is also being planned.
