Innovate Guildford: Science & Arts Festival

17 March, 2018 to 17 March, 2018

Bugs and beasties spread diseases!

Visit Innovate Guildford this year hear from our scientists about their work at Pirbright.
Take on our challenge to build a Lego mosquito as well as finding out how these tiny insects can be used to fight devastating diseases worldwide!

Professor Luke Alphey will be talking in the Glass Room at 3pm about 're-engineering mosquitoes to fight disease'.

Innovate Guildford is a free festival of science and art organised by Guildford Borough Council.

The first festival in 2016 saw over 5,000 people of all ages attend, enjoying exhibits, workshops, talks and performances from the rich diversity of science, technology and arts in the Guildford area.

This event attracts plenty of families and provides a great environment for talking about the science you are passionate about.
