Diamond Light Source are hosting an open day where families will be able to explore the campus and find out what the Diamond particle accelerator is used for.
Exhibitors will be there to explain how they use the particle accelerator in their research and why it is important for making scientific advances.
Pirbright will be among those exhibiting, showcasing the foot-and-mouth disease vaccine work that is done in collaboration with Diamond. Join us to hear how our scientists use the accelerator and try out our foot-and-mouth disease puzzle model.
