We have over 150 scientists at the Institute, strategically funded by the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC), and supported by experts in the fields of biosecurity, IT, commercialisation, finance, communications and HR. We are an international research hub located on one campus in Surrey which benefits from the world-leading BBSRC Virology Centre, a state-of-the-art high containment laboratory, high-containment animal facilities and collaborations in many countries worldwide.
